Steps to follow
This procedure is only used to recover the password of an external user registered with an external email account at the University. If you need to change your UPF password, follow the instructions on The UPF password guide.
If you have forgotten your external user's password, you can recover it by following these steps:
- Go to the CAU page, go to Library and IT (*) and click on Other users.
- Click on Has oblidat la contrasenya? (Have you forgotten your password?).
- Enter the email address you registered with.
- In a few minutes you will receive a message from Biblioteca i Informàtica (egp@upf.edu) with a Reset my password button. Click on this button.
- A new window will open asking you to enter a new password and then confirm the indicated password.
- You will enter the Library and IT CAU (*).
* You can access any area of the CAU that has the Other users link.
